In the age of the cell phone, why have a landline?

1. No Google Ads. With a landline, there's no cell phone “listening in” and your conversation stays free from the prying ears of paid advertising dollars.

2. Reach Those Who are Hard to Reach. Does the person you're calling have a dead cell phone battery or misplaced phone? Never fear - you can still reach them thanks to the landline phone.

With a landline, there's no texting and no bullying on group chats - just kids talking, laughing, and having actual conversations.

5. Call Quality. Landlines have better sound quality and clarity than cell phones - helpful for those who are hearing impaired and rely on a clear connection.

6. Better Boundaries & Time Management. You can forward your cell phone calls to your landline. This way, people can still get a hold of you, but you avoid the temptation to dive into the cell phone black hole of scrolling - saving time, and being present with those around you when at home.
