Business Development Representative - IT Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our IT Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying potential clients, and driving revenue growth in the IT sector. Role and Responsibilites

  1. Prospect and Lead Generation: Attend Center of Influence events to build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients.
  2. Quoting and Proposal Generation: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for IT products and services. Ensure timely delivery to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  3. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest IT products, services, and trends. Be able to explain the features and benefits of our offers to clients.
  4. IT Solution Recommendations: Collaborate with technical teams to recommend IT solutions and services that align with clients' needs and objectives. Present these solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
  5. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company's revenue growth.
  6. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional IT solutions to existing clients based on their evolving needs.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, Technical Account Managers, vCIO’s and Professional Services to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to deal closure.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, leads, and opportunities using ConnectWise software.
  9. Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT sales or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, and managed services.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
